Thomas Armstrong Group has launched the UK's first foamed glass aggregate manufacturing facility in Great Heck, North Yorkshire.

Foamed Glass UK brings proven, sustainable technology to the UK, driving progress towards a circular economy and reducing our carbon footprint.

Foamed glass aggregate is made from recycled container glass, offering a sustainable solution for the construction sector. Cullet is cleaned, finely-milled and expanded to form a clean, low-weight and highly insulating material perfect for a wide range of construction applications; for use in foundations, drainage systems, green roofs and as an insulating material for buildings.
