BA Glass CEO steps down

New CEO at BA Glass

Sandra Santos, BA Glass Chief Executive Officer and Board Member, will step down as CEO on 22 February 2024 and in the meantime start the transition of leadership to the next CEO, Tiago Moreira da Silva.

Mr da Silva joined BA in 2008 as food key account manager, becoming the CMO in 2016, just before the expansion to Southeast Europe in 2017. As member of the Executive Board, he also led the Iberian Operations, and recently, the Central Europe Operations. As leader of the Executive Board, he will drive the company into a new and innovative stage of growth and transformation.

The Executive Board team welcomes new members, Marco Marques and Sylwia Mistrzak, two young and energetic leaders, owners also of a remarkable career in BA.
 
Sandra Santos has been in the CEO role for the last 10 years, where she successfully steered BA Glass through a strong transformation and growth. Her leadership, inspiration, perseverance, and passion for new challenges marked the 10 years of her mandate, moving BA from a €500 million to €1,6 billion turnover company. She will continue to serve on BA’s Board as non-executive Director.
