Borosil Limited has has commissioned a borosilicate glass furnace on 31 January 2024. The company shall begin trial production shortly and expects commercial production to be achieved by the end of February. The company is planning to achieve 25 tonne/day production capacity for borosilicate glass pressware at Jaipur, Rajasthan.
This will help the company to reduce its dependence on imports, improve its product offerings, cater to domestic and overseas demand for pressware and lower production costs.
