The assessment of heterogeneity in glass
GT V02 1961 192-198
This report, originally intended only for the use of the Committee, reviews briefly the various methods which have been used to assess heterogeneity. Many of the original papers are listed in the extensive bibliography which is given. It is concluded that although existing methods are adequate for certain sections of the industry, there is an obvious need for further quantitative tests to determine both the nature and amount of any heterogeneity.
