Leadership change at International Commission on Glass
The International Commission on Glass Annual Meeting in Incheon, South Korea saw a change in leadership with Prof. Reinhard Conradt handing over his position as President to Prof. Hiroyuki Inoue of Tokyo University. Prof. Inoue will serve a three year term as Commission President.
The other awards at the ICG Annual Meeting: the V. Gottardi Award for 2024 went to Kenji Shinozaki of Osaka University; the W. E. S. Turner Award was jointly awarded to W.E.S Turner Award - Joachim Deubener & Guy Van Maroke De Lummen; Lifetime Achievement Award to Jong Heo; and the Mott Award to Lili Hu.
