First Call for Papers

Please help us build on the success of previous Furnace Solutions conferences by submitting your paper for next year’s conference.  The glass industry faces many challenges and must radically change over the coming years to remain competitive as we move towards circular economies and NetZero. So, if you feel you have something to offer and would like to present a paper, please get in touch.

The Sustainable-Melting Technical Committee of the Society of Glass Technology is again planning to hold the two-day Furnace Solutions conference at the Totally Wicked Stadium, home of St Helens Rugby League Club, on the 4th and 5h June (date to be confirmed).

Attracting attendees from the UK, Europe and around the world, this highly respected and successful conference offers an opportunity to highlight issues and opportunities and showcases best practices and technologies for the glass industry.
