NSG Group has announced plans by Pilkington Polska to install an advanced architectural glass coating line at its facility in Sandomierz, Poland.
The new sputtering coating line will be a fully automated system designed to apply ultra-thin, high-precision functional coatings to glass surfaces. Production is scheduled to commence in the first quarter of 2027. The investment, valued at PLN 160 million, is expected to create over 30 new jobs in the region.
The new line will enable Pilkington Polska to produce a broad portfolio of high-performance glass products, including energy-saving low-emissivity glass, meeting the growing demand for sustainable building solutions in Poland and across Europe.
